I am a Developer / Designer hybrid, focusing on WordPress theme development. While most stick with either design or development, I rather not be locked to a single declaration of the web. When you’re stuck working with both a very technical developer and an artsy designer that has no idea why their print designs look horrible on a screen, it’s great to have someone that can help understand both sides of the argument. Floating this fine line can be a challenge, but making sure my code is clean and my photoshop layers are well organized is something I enjoy doing every day.
For the past two and a half years, I’ve worked at a company in Warwick that has changed names more times than they should have. Through all this I served as a Front End Developer, helping keep our 400+ clients’ WordPress sites running day to day, while making new themes for our ever growing library.
Born Creative Blog
The Born Creative Blog was created for wonderfully talented Rhode Island based blogger, Michelle Gray (who also might be my girlfriend). Her blog focus’s is to share inspiration to help motivate anyone to realize the potential they have within themselves.
This site was designed by both of us, as an example that I might be right sometimes. It uses a custom WordPress theme with the addition of an extensive content builder. It is fully responsive, and I definitely recommend you check it out!
RBA Salon is an upscale barber shop located in Millburn, New Jersey. They have since been acquired by another salon, so their site is now suspended in development.
This site would have been a ground-up WordPress theme with custom post types for their services menu to allow easy organization. I also designed a quick start guide to help them along in the setup process, which can be found here.
